Confidence, Arrogance and Ignorance. Know The Difference

I noticed that some people have been going through a hard time understanding the differences between these 3 terms: confidence, arrogance, and ignorance.

Following are the definitions based on Google search

Arrogance:

having or revealing an exaggerated sense of one's importance or abilities.

"he's arrogant and opinionated,"

Ignorance:

lacking knowledge or awareness in general; uneducated or unsophisticated.

lacking knowledge, information, or awareness about a particular thing.

"I was largely ignorant of the effects of radiotherapy"

discourteous or rude.

"this ignorant, pin-brained receptionist"

It is agreeable that being arrogant is better than being ignorant, for being arrogant is the impression that you bring to the table and has no long-term effect on yourself, whereas ignorant is something that could be related to hedonism, and may potentially be damaging in the long run.

Ignorance is when you are illiterate yet too arrogant to realise it yourself.

It is when you ignore the factual survey that has been proved, and with such high tolerance for such a large lack, one may have the potential to drown oneself in a pool of denials...

Neither of these is to be confused with confidence... not even arrogance. Confidence is the feeling or belief that one can have faith in or rely on someone or something.

Confidence is when you are confident in yourself, and it comes from proven evidence that you are worthy of something. This results in a person not being triggered by such claims or immoral behaviour. It goes along the lines of security.

When you feel secure about yourself and your life, no one can easily make you feel inferior.

While ignorance is driven by insecurities, arrogance and confidence are both driven by facts.

At times, people might think that insecurities only appear in those who are not highly educated or have a good source of income.

But then again, the idea of 'studying' comes from the thinking that one isn't enough, which is good, but then, it could also mean that when one studies solely to prove others wrong, they could have the potential of walking out of the university empty-headed due to the idea of studying to pass the exams as opposed to wanting to gain more knowledge.

And sometimes, the people who have no proper education or fixed income happen to be more secure about themselves. This could be because one has been through an eventful life, and it could also be because of the belief system and faith development in oneself that helps to have a deeper meaning of a definition to one's qualities in life, which results in a person feeling secure and isn't afraid of any imaginary competitions.

Today, we have something that is called 'freedom of choice'. Where people have the freedom to choose to do what they want.

And to label someone to be arrogant or confident is completely a question of freedom, or in other words, 'to each of his own'.

Some people might say that I am arrogant, and that could be because they are insecure about themselves when being put next to me, while some other people might say that I am quite humble for who I am, considering the age and the experience that I have gone through.

While a few others might be questioning and doubting my credibility to be saying such things, I know that only a few of them will be doing their research on the discussed topic, while the rest will be going straight to discussing the issue without any tools.

Arrogant or confident, well... at least I am not ignorant, because I know I am not.
