I thought that the star belonged to the moon…

But why does the moon stand alone in the sky?

Why did you ask if I loved you still,

When you picked me up, and then you passed me by?…

And do I still love you? My heart is numb to feel for I have cried too much over you.

Oh, your eyes remain in my mind for the charm you gave me was too strong to leave behind

In the rivers of my tears where I cried too hard with too much love.

 

Are you mine to have? Are you mine to love? Are you mine to touch? Are you mine to hold?

I still think of you in dreams when I see the face of the sun.

Do I love you? Well, maybe I do.

But I should go, for three is a crowd…

And I should see the sun when I miss your smile…
