We barely got to know each other...

I never had a thought of losing you...

But if ever the time is that near for me to lose you,

I hope I won't be denied entry to visit you for the last time

If that shall ever be the first and the last time we were to meet.

There's still so many tunes to be played,

There are too many poems to be written and read...

Too many feelings are unspoken,

And far too many grudges to be resolved.

Please don't go yet...

Not before I get to see your eyes close before my own.

Not until I get to kiss your forehead,

And bow down to your hands...
